Foundation Programme Directors Workshop – Friday 15th October 2010 - BDA, London
This 1-day Workshop addresses various aspects of the Foundation Programme relevant to both Foundation Programme Directors and Foundation Programme Managers. It will be informal and participatory. Topics will include Roles & responsibilities of Foundation Programme Directors, Delivering an education programme, Doctors in Difficulty, Supporting & developing supervisors and Making Assessments Meaningful.
All involved in the Foundation Programme, in any capacity, are welcome.

You are invited to submit abstracts on any aspect / innovation in the Foundation Programme by 26th March 2010.
- The abstract should not be more than 200 words in length
- Use the headings: context & setting; why the innovation/development was introduced; what was done; evaluation of results or impact
- References listed at the end using Vancouver reference style.
A panel of assessors will judge submitted summaries on the following criteria:
- Soundness of approach (whether educational innovation or research)
- Originality of approach
- Clarity of description of the innovation or research project
- Accessibility, importance and relevance of content for a national/international audience
Authors must register for the meeting as delegates.
All NACT UK meetings are recognised by the RCP (London) for CPD points, and receive credits from the Open University towards a Certificate in Continuing Professional Development. To learn more about this, click here.
